    ADDRESS RELATED
  • New Import scripts assist with bringing large mail lists into BIZ. Bring all fields into the Address file and then run the new MERGE/PARSE script which auto-parses your data into the proper files.

    ACTIVITY RELATED
  • Speech Integration: enhanced message center, activities and documents will now speak text to you so you don’t have to read all the text. A preference is available to turn this new feature on or off.
  • A new To-Do List screen is included which has “filters” that let you view different types of data in a self-related portal. Truly a nice way to keep tabs on your to-do list, simply.

    RSRC "CONFIGURABLE" NAVIGATION BUTTONS
  • Customizable Button labels: Added many new buttons and graphics to this file which are used via relationship to show navigation buttons and new “shortcut” buttons throughout the files. NEW: If you don’t like the name of a button you may customize the name for that button (in one place in this file) and all configurable buttons are instantly changed throughout BIZ Basics. For example, if you don’t want your button to say “People” you may change it to “Clients” or even a foreign language version “Cliéntos”, etc.. Powerful versatility!

    DOCUMENT LIBRARY RELATED
  • "Invoice Notes" and "Purchase Notes" are now automatically calculated by a new "Note Key". This simplifies auto-adding new notes to the Message pop-up menus saving you a setup step each time you add a new note.

  • PEOPLE file adds ability to display "related contacts" for over 20 related fields
  • this powerful feature lets you see a scrolling list of related contacts on the main "People" data entry layout. Click on any contact name to navigate directly to that record. For example, this lets you see all contacts from the same company, or all the contacts who purchased the same product, or who's favorite color is "Blue", etc., etc.)
  • New HelpDesk layout lets everyone at your company have access to ongoing info about each customer, vendor and lead prospect, providing you with better customer service.
